Mixing the traditional architecture of a 1900’s house with the most elegant and modern boho design. This is the aim of the renovation project that we present to you today and in which the materials of Cifre Cerámica have had a lot to do with it.
The property is located in the Cabanyal district of Valencia and only 5 minutes from the Malvarrosa beach. This two-story loft shows how the most modern ceramics can be integrated into a home that refreshes and updates the early twentieth-century style of the manor house.
Thus, the cement texture of our Artech collection (in 60×120 format and Silver colour) has been chosen as the flooring for both the living room and the bathroom. Its modern aesthetic becomes the perfect counterpoint and balances the original architectural elements of the house: the vaulted ceiling, the wooden beams and the exposed brick walls.
In addition, Artech pieces shape one of the most distinctive elements of the project: a suspended staircase leading to the bedroom located on the upper floor.
Natural textures play a key role in this project and reinforce the characteristic boho style. These textures are transferred to the kitchen thanks to the use of our Statuario collection as cladding. The matt version (75×75) brings the timeless design of one of the great marbles even more up to date.
The use of Artech as flooring throughout the lower floor contributes to the continuity of the project. Even more so in the bathroom, where the 60x120cm pieces also cover the walls. The Materia collection, in Pearl colour, 40x120cm format and with its characteristic decorative relief, has been chosen as cladding in the shower area. A design that further reinforces the rain effect of this spacious shower.
The refurbishment of this 60 square meters flat (40 on the lower floor and 20 in the loft bedroom) was carried out by Loftinvalencia. It is a holiday flat available both through Airbnb and telephone 670 435 841.
