Industrial Style: a new chance

The industrial style not only does not disappear, but comes back stronger and with new variants

Just a few months ago, many influencers considered the industrial style for decoration to be dead, but it seems that in the second half of 2018 it returns stronger, reinvented and with multiple proposals for all kinds of projects.

These are the keys to the new industrial style:

  • Not only for large spaces. This style was born in the 50s in New York when they began to occupy old factories and warehouses, but the reality of many homes and businesses today is not that. However, a correct use of the identifying elements of the industrial style can help us achieve that feel.
  • Naked appearance. Few things describe the industrial environment better than a bare wall, an untreated wood, a cement or metallic pavement. Many of our collections perfectly recreate this industrial air without losing the comfort of contemporary materials.
  • Industrial colors. A correct choice of color can help us define an industrial look and you just have to think about the shades of those basic materials: gray, black and blue for metals. Brown and beige of the wood or reddish tones of the brick  that define the style
  • Decorating with head. If we have chosen wall and floor coverings with a strong industrial air, we must compensate with the furniture and decoration. If the base of the space is neutral, worn furniture will look great, as well as some metal and leather.

The Cifre Veredict
